Getting Started

At One L we teach on a first come, first served basis, which means that if we have the space in our diary to fit in your driving lesson, it's yours!

  • Some learner drivers want to take driving lessons every week - no probs!
  • Some learner drivers want to take driving lessons twice a week - no probs!
  • Some learner drivers want to take driving lessons every day - no probs!

At One L we can accommodate everyone's individual circumstances, because everyone's different. We provide 1 hour, 1.5 hour, and 2 hour driving lessons.

The majority of our pupils take lessons on a weekly basis, however if you wanted to attempt to learn in the shortest timeframe possible, we provide personal Intensive courses that may better suit your needs.

Intensive Courses

A One L Intensive course simply means buying a block of driving lessons that suits your circumstances and your wallet. These blocks of lessons could be 20, 30 or 40 hours worth. What makes our individual courses intensive, is that you can use up your block of lessons as quickly as you want.

  • Some learner drivers want INTENSE -no probs!

At One L we offer planned, structured driving tuition at a rate that suits each individual learner driver. Following a structured learning programme is beneficial to both you as a learner and your instructor. You need to learn the skill then practice the skill, in order to make progress and gain experience. Like learning any new skill the more you practice the better you become.

At One L we keep a confidential and very close record of your progress. We measure your progress against a list of all the key skills you need to achieve in order to pass your test and become a safe driver.

Mock Tests

When your driving has reached test standard One L can also provide mock tests. Just like the real driving test, we start and finish at the local test centre, use real driving test forms to grade your drive, and we fully debrief you in the same way your examiner will.

Our mock tests are designed not just to mentally prepare you for the real test, but also provide you the opportunity of driving in test conditions. After your mock test, we want you to sit the real thing, and we hope you only need to sit it once!
